Thermosiphon solar collectors provides mains pressure pre-heating via a high efficiency copper coil heat exchanger located within the solar collector tank.The way in which the Mains Pressure solar collector heats water is the same as the Non pressure solar collector..Rather than using the water in the tank directly,as the Non pressure does,the type uses a 45~60 copper coil.
Heat exchanger inside the tank which provides more than 1.2m2 of heat transfer area.When water flows though the coil it absorbs heat from the water inside the solar collector tank.The solar collector tank is therefore a thermal store.One advantage of this system is that almost no water is introduced into the tank(apart from occasional topping up),so corrosion and scale buildup are almost totally eliminated.Tanks are designed for low to medium pressure applications using a gravity feed tank or pressure reduction valve.Direct connection to mains pressure water supply is not permitted.Please check your local building/plumbing regulations regarding the installation of water tanks. |

The translation the borosilicate glass tube,which is 40-60mm away from flange end,should be round.The ratio of the longest to the shortest radial dimensions of the borosilicate glass tube should be no more than 1.02. |

1.Polyethylene insulation with a fabric casing can be used if polyurethane insulation is not suitable.
2.Tanks are designed for high pressure that direct connection to mains pressure water supply is permitted.
3.Direct connection of copper coil HE to mains pressure water supply is permitted.
4.In most regions,only locally approved heating elements can be used.The heating element port can be custom made as required to suit any sized element.(Female thread-located in top of tank).A sample of the heating element will need to be provided before tanks are manufactured in order to confirm thread. |
